Research and economic analysis

The research undertaken by the ECLM secretariat is facilitated by access to a wide range of background material.

The secretariat has access to information from a number of Danish data banks and economic models, notably the econometric model ADAM (Annual Danish Aggregate Model), which is an essential tool in the production of economic analysis of a national, regional or sectoral character.

As part of the effort to comply with the increasing internationalization of the market economy, the ECLM has developed HEIMDAL (Historical Estimated International Model of the DAnish Labour movement). HEIMDAL is an econometric model of the international economy that models the world economy from a European perspective. HEIMDAL operates with 15 OECD countries and 3 non-OECD aggregates, listed according to their interaction with the European economy.

The analytical work in ECLM is primarily in Danish however some analysis and publications are also available in English.
